FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is able to sign up for the programs?

We have programs available for kids aged 7-14. Prior knowledge or experience with financial literacy is not required or needed. We meet students where they are and teach financial concepts in a way that is easy to understand and fun for all who attend.

Who is the instructor?

Our instructors range from business professionals, to educators, to entrepreneurs, and college students. All instructors on the Cash Savvy Kids team go through extensive background checks as well as at least 35 hours of training to learn our programs. We also occasionally bring in experts in the area of real estate, business, investing, and banking to help teach certain financial concepts.

You will receive the exact names and bio of your child's instructors in an email before the program begins.

How will I find out the details about my child’s class?

You will receive a confirmation email shortly after you have registered online and payment has been processed. You will receive an additional email the week before your child’s program begins. That email will contain all the basic login information.

What is Moola? How can my child win?

Throughout the Cash Savvy Kids programs, students are able to earn Moola, which is our monetary reward system. At the end of each 1 week program, the student who has earned the most Moola wins a $50 investment into an investment account of your choice.

What is the cancellation policy?

Transfers – In order to transfer payment to another program date, we must be provided a minimum of seven-day notice. We will only transfer payment one time.

Refunds – Notification at least two weeks prior to the program date will be eligible for a refund minus a $10 service fee. Late cancellations are not eligible for a refund. Refunds are not given for students unable to complete the program.

No Shows – No prior notification will result in forfeit of payment and may not be transferred.

What Kids and Parents are Saying

I just wanted to let you know how much my son, Chris, enjoyed the camp. He learned a lot and had a great time. He was asking if he could start an investment account, so I think the lessons were well received.

P Reed Parent

I watched my sons really understand some major concepts. Not only did they ‘get it’, they began to relate it to their own lives and make some concrete plans and goals. They were stimulated, entertained and involved. They made friends and really got a tremendous amount out of the camp.

Tonia Parent

The most valuable thing I learned was that I can invest at any age.

The most valuable thing I learned at Money Camp is that becoming financially independent is your choice, not a dream.
